How To Protect Your Peace As A Childfree Woman

Living in such a patriarchal society as a childfree woman who intends to NEVER change her mind can be so draining. Don't you agree?

Some people will flat out tell you you'll change your mind, try to convince you that you're "missing out," and will swear up & down that all children are blessings.

With all the noise surrounding your reproductive rights and the constant pressure you probably receive from family and associates, here are some surefire ways to protect your peace as a childfree person:

Find Your Tribe

I know you've probably heard the saying, "Birds of a feather flock together." By connecting with like-minded people, the likelihood of ever hearing those comments mentioned above are slim-to-none. You will feel accepted and encouraged to continue your childfree lifestyle. Childfree groups can be found on Facebook, Instagram, or MeetUp.

Validate Yourself

Being strong-willed is another great way to protect your peace as a childfree woman. When you feel no one supports your childfree decision, it's best to gather reassurance from within. Journaling helps with self-validation also, and we have the perfect product for that!

Practice Isolation

This is particularly important and necessary during the holiday seasons. Some may not agree with isolating during Thanksgiving and Christmas - BUT if you have family members who constantly pressure you about having children (when they KNOW you don't want them), it's best to stay away from them. This avoids any arguments, disagreements, and awkward moments that might take place. Create your own traditions in the comfort (and PEACE) of your own home!

As mentioned before, these three tips will help you to protect your peace as you continue to live childfree. Remember to always remain true to YOU - unapologetically!
